The Troy University Department of Art is developing formal programming around a Spring Arts Series and a Fall Arts Series. Each semester we will engage with a diverse group of creators to offer unique learning and engagement opportunities for our students and our community.

We will host an individual artist for a four-week residency and also welcome additional artists to campus for shorter stays ranging from one week to a single afternoon. The goal is to create an environment of workshops, artist talks, guest curators, studio visits, and student portfolio reviews, among other activities. The residency is designed for artists with strong Alabama ties, and we welcome artists from all over the world to submit applications for our shorter engagements.
